F.C.C. TSR Honda France secured 6th position on the grid after a fiercely contested qualifying session for the opening round of the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC), the 2025 Le Mans 24-Hour Endurance Race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The historic 48th edition of the race will take place from Saturday, April 19 to Sunday, April 20. A total of 53 selected teams from around the world have gathered at the legendary Bugatti Circuit, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. On this highly technical circuit, known for its rapidly changing weather conditions, a dramatic 24-hour battle for glory is set to unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F.C.C. TSR Honda France, a two-time world champion team, heads into the event with a three-rider lineup that also participated in the official pre-event test earlier this month. The squad consists of Alan Techer (France), Corentin Perolari (France), and Taiga Hada (Japan). Former Superstock world champion Loris Baz has also joined the team as reserve rider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team will compete with the #5 Honda CBR1000RR-R 2025 model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifying began on Thursday, April 17 at 4:00 PM under dry and sunny conditions. Alan Techer recorded a lap time of 1:35.568, placing 5th in his session. Corentin Perolari also finished 5th in his group with a 1:35.945, despite the session being interrupted twice by red flags. Taiga Hada posted a 1:37.850 to finish 14th, while Loris Baz recorded a 1:38.669, placing 5th in his category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second qualifying session began on Friday, April 18 at 10:20 AM. Temperatures dropped and light rain appeared in some areas, creating difficult conditions. Both Hada and Baz improved their lap times by approximately half a second, recording 1:37.256 and 1:38.174 respectively. However, neither Techer nor Perolari managed to improve on their previous best laps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After two days of qualifying, the final grid positions \u2014 determined by the average lap times of each team\u2019s top two riders \u2014 placed F.C.C. TSR Honda France 6th on the grid with an average time of 1:35.757.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this weekend\u2019s final race, where difficult conditions and possible rain are expected, F.C.C. TSR Honda France will aim for a top result and to secure the maximum possible championship points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final race, featuring all 53 teams starting together, will begin on Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 PM. The 48th edition of the race will be broadcast live in full on Eurosport Player and Eurosport 2 France, with extended live coverage also scheduled on La Cha\u00eene L’\u00c9quipe, alongside wide international media coverage around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were able to show our speed in qualifying, and I\u2019m feeling very confident about the condition of the bike as well. The weather could become unpredictable, but we are fully prepared for both wet and dry conditions. Even with this new team lineup entering its first race together, the atmosphere within the team is very good, and I believe we can deliver a strong race as a complete team.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Rather than focusing on qualifying lap times, we concentrated on preparing our race pace throughout the sessions. We also chose not to use qualifying-spec tires, keeping our focus firmly on real race conditions. Rain is expected over the weekend, so our top priority is to stay consistent and avoid crashes. It will be my first time riding in the rain at night, but I\u2019m really looking forward to it!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Through the tests and practice sessions, my feeling with the bike has gradually improved. I do have experience at the Suzuka 8 Hours, but this will be my first time competing in a 24-hour race. I\u2019m comfortable riding in the rain, but avoiding crashes is absolutely essential. My goal is to stay consistent and make it all the way to the finish.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
