5月17日・18日の日程で、スパ24時間（24H SPA EWC Motos 2022）の公式プレテストが当地のスパ・フランコルシャンで始まった。

一部改修されたコースや施設も新しくなったスパ・フランコルシャン。改修されたコーナーはターン9で、奥に付け替えられている（コースレイアウト参照）。
また、当初の予定が変更され、レースは6月4日（土）の13:00（日本時間20:00）スタート、5日（日）の同時刻がフィニッシュとなった。
