We didn’t achieve the result we were hoping for.
Alan ran out of fuel because of a communication mistake on our side.
The bike itself was working perfectly.
Alan later told us, “After the ‘L5’ sign appeared on the pit board, the PIT light started flashing on the dashboard.
I thought it seemed unusually early, but I kept riding anyway.”
After that, our focus shifted to preparing for the Bol d’Or.
In the final stint, we changed our plan and sent John out instead of Coco.
The goal was to give him more experience riding at night and to improve his pace at the start of a stint.
A safety car period meant he couldn’t ride at the speed we had hoped for, but we still learned a great deal.
Using the Suzuka 8 Hours as our test, we’ve now finalized both the machine specification and the team structure for the final round.
Today we’ll be packing everything up while already preparing for what’s next.
