Honda World Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information provided by customers and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and regulations. The Company has established the following Privacy Policy as its basic policy regarding the protection of personal information and ensures that all officers and employees are fully aware of and comply with it.
Should the Company revise this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published in the same manner as this Policy.comply with it.

Personal information acquired by the Company will be used within the scope necessary to carry out the Company’s business activities and for the purposes described below. However, where a specific purpose of use is separately stated or notified at the time of collection, such personal information will be used only within the scope of that stated purpose.

  1. Sales of motorcycles, bicycles, engines, agricultural machinery, snow blowers, outboard motors, generators, other power products, and related accessories and parts handled by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “Company Products”)
  2. Provision of after-sales services, information services, and other services related to Company Products (hereinafter referred to as “Company Services”)
  3. Implementation of motorsports activities, racing activities, safe driving promotion activities, social contribution activities, and other activities conducted by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “Company Activities”)
(B) Purposes of Use
  1. To provide information regarding periodic inspections, warranty programs, and related services for Company Products via mail, telephone, email, social networking services, or other means.
  2. To provide information regarding Company Products, new products, Company Services, events, campaigns, and related activities via mail, telephone, email, social networking services, or other means.
  3. To notify and implement recalls, improvement measures, and service campaigns related to Company Products.
  4. To conduct surveys via mail, telephone, email, social networking services, or other means for product development and customer satisfaction improvement.
  5. To respond to notifications, guidance, requests, and investigations from national or local government agencies and public organizations.
  6. To conduct credit assessments and credit management.
  7. To respond to customers in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. To carry out other management and operational activities necessary for the Company’s business.

In addition to the above purposes, the Company may use acquired information in a statistical form for analysis and business improvement. Such information will not contain any personally identifiable information.

The Company may jointly use personal information in connection with the business activities described in Section 1(A) for the purposes set forth in Section 1(B).

(1) Items of Personal Information Subject to Joint Use

Customer name, gender, address, date of birth, telephone number, email address, transaction-related information, and vehicle-related information (vehicle identification number, model, registration number, registration date, maintenance history).

  • Okinawa Honda Co., Ltd.
  • Honda Power Products Japan Co., Ltd.
(3) Purpose of Joint Use

To facilitate the smooth execution of the purposes stated in Section 1 and to improve operational efficiency related to payment, billing, and other business activities.

(5) Method of Acquisition

  1. When applicable to credit assessment and credit management as described in Section 1(B)(6)
  2. When disclosure is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and obtaining consent is difficult
  3. When disclosure is required by law
  4. When otherwise permitted by applicable laws and regulations

The Company may outsource certain operations within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes described in Section 1(B). In such cases, the Company will require contractors to appropriately handle personal information and will provide proper supervision.をいたします。
