F.C.C., a pioneer in the racing industry, independently developed and supplied the “SLIPPER CLUTCH KIT” for the Moto2™ class in MotoGP™, building a proven track record before commercializing it for the CBR600RR.
With development support from TSR, the first product for the new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade – SC82 – is finally scheduled for release in early October.
F.C.C. Sliper Clutch Kit CBR1000RR-R
A race-use clutch that dramatically improves back-torque control and clutch operability, while also greatly enhancing serviceability.
- During back-torque input, the cam does not directly push up the pressure plate. Instead, it lifts three of the six clutch springs (SPG) to control the pressure plate load, significantly reducing lever vibration.
- Slip torque can be adjusted simply by changing the springs (SPG), without replacing the slipper cam body itself, making setup much easier. Torque settings can be tuned using two optional spring types with higher or lower rates.
- Durability is improved through the use of a steel cam.
