Le Mans, engine

Assembly has begun in France.

During the previous Almeria test, we had planned to ship three engines from Japan and assemble them, but due to a deficiency in the customs clearance process for the Honda parts, we weren’t able to get ahold of them. Because of that, we adjusted our plans so we could assemble them this time around instead.

However, poor internal coordination within the company caused us to get a late start by half a day. We will be deploying them starting from the Le Mans pre-test! From those, we will preserve the best-performing engine and head into the actual race with it. The team at Honda did a great job despite being so busy. The only way we can repay them is with results.

The photo shows a portion of the parts that were sent over.
By the way, I’d like to say one thing to everyone out there riding a CBR! The load placed on the engine during everyday street riding is vastly different from how we push it. So, there is absolutely no need for you to worry!
