John crashed on the final corner of the final lap!
Apparently, a rider right in front of him suddenly crossed paths with him to enter the pit lane.
He was taught that this, too, is just “the law of endurance racing,” so we’ll leave it at that.

The mechanics were waiting to do a pit work simulation after the checkered flag.
However, just as I was about to dismiss them after telling them about John’s crash, he rode the bike back himself.
The work took a bit of effort, but hey, these things happen!
It turned out to be good practice.

Alright, time to head back to Paris!
