How is everyone doing?
It’s been a while.
I’m Fujii, the General Manager, and starting this year I’ll be in charge of the racing page.
The reason I’ve come back and started writing again is to help connect things to the next generation.
I decided to step in from the business side to simplify matters related to racing, so here I am, pushing this old body along and sharing racing and motorcycle culture with all of you.
That said, you all know my personality.
There will probably be moments where I lack refinement or proper manners, and there may be plenty of blunt remarks as well.
Please take it all with a bit of humor.
Now then, on February 11, we carried out the final inspection test for the machines that will be shipped to Le Mans at Suzuka West Course.
Although there was still snow remaining around the track,
we were able to complete a very productive confirmation test.
The recorded top speed in the data was 314 km/h,
and the lap times were on the level of the West Course record.
With that, we have now started shipping equipment to France.
Next, we will conduct testing in Spain from March 1 to 4.
