Wednesday Has Ended

A photo from the event.
Starting this time, we will be running onboard cameras.
Teams designated by the organizers are now required to install cameras.
If a team refuses, the new regulations impose two stop-and-go penalties.
The reason it became an official rule is because we kept refusing to comply with the organizers for so many years.
That’s pretty impressive, isn’t it?
To have enough influence to make the rules change.
In exchange, we made them agree that if cameras are mandatory, then they must be used at every race.
The reason is simple — at our beloved Suzuka, teams had to pay a very expensive fee for onboard cameras.
Suzuka had that wonderful “amateur spirit” atmosphere to it, but perhaps this too is simply the sign of changing times.
