Le Mans 24-Hour Race Ends — Retirement with 1 Hour and 30 Minutes Remaining.

The Le Mans 24-Hour Race has come to an end.

From the halfway point of the race — 12 hours after the start — F.C.C. TSR Honda France steadily continued to gain positions lap after lap.
All three riders maintained an extremely high pace throughout the race, recovering from as low as 45th position and climbing all the way up to 10th place with just two hours remaining.
However, thirty minutes later, trouble struck.
While riding, Josh Hook encountered a mechanical issue that left the machine unable to continue.
The bike was returned to the pit garage and the team attempted repairs, but damage to the engine was discovered. After evaluating the situation, it was determined that repairs were impossible, and unfortunately the team was forced to retire from the race.
