The other day I was talking with people involved at Suzuka as well, and I think unless we build a system that can close the gap between racing in Japan and racing on the world stage, we won’t be able to break through the current situation.

Japan has everything: the world’s four major manufacturers, parts makers that meet global standards, and circuits that are truly world-class.
And yet—people don’t get developed.
For some reason, we still don’t understand why…
