I arrived on Tuesday.

The Japanese and European teams have come together
and begun preparations.

The young French mechanics have a really great character—
they’re bringing a nice energy.

Watching TV at a friend’s house,
I saw that the Olympics were being held in Milan.
Seeing it from a French perspective felt fresh.

I was happy to hear the announcer
talking about the achievements of Japanese athletes.

That said,
there’s been a lot of rain here,
and footage of flooding keeps being shown.

I sincerely hope everyone affected
can return to their normal lives as soon as possible.

He recently bought it and took me for a ride.

It’s a car from the 1960s—
it has the same spirit as us.
