“Bol d’Or 5”
2025.09.17 race
Good morning.
Yesterday was a test day.
Originally, it was scheduled to be split into two sessions, morning and afternoon,
but due to a series of red flags, it ended up being changed to three.
If you paid for two entries, you could run two bikes,
but that also meant the total number of bikes went over 100,
with classes ranging from EWC, SST, stock, and even special classes.
On top of that, only one transponder was lent to each team,
so the lap times and positions displayed on the timing monitor couldn’t really be trusted.
Our focus was on checking the new engine specification we’ll use in the race,
as well as confirming the full set of electronics to match it.
Alan and Coco ran in the 52-second range,
Taiga entered the 53s,
and in terms of race pace, that’s within expectations.
As long as nothing breaks, no mistakes are made, no penalties come,
and if my karma holds up (lol),
we’re sure to get a good result!
The video is of the hospitality provided by Honda France this morning.
