Yesterday, my phone suddenly rang out loudly.
It was a severe wind warning alert.

Recently, storms with heavy rain have been causing major damage.
I sincerely pray for everyone affected,
and hope for a swift recovery.

Today, it’s the wind.

I had plans to meet Bruno at a bakery at 7 a.m.,
so I walked there—but the wind was so strong
it almost blew me away.
I even wondered if the bakery might be closed.

Since yesterday, there had been notices about school closures and more.

But the bakery was warmly open as usual.
The staff’s smiles were shining.

That’s the kind of response we want to deliver as well.

The photo shows the three of us—Jack, Bruno, and me.

Since I was having tea with Bruno,
I naturally called Jack.
“How’s France?” I asked.

He laughed and said the wind—and the rain—were terrible.

When I handed the phone to Bruno,
he immediately started speaking perfect French.

So cool!!
