DAY1

2026.03.03race

COCO: 35.9
Alan: 36.0
Jhon: 37.3 — with 57 laps, likely the highest lap count.

At the morning briefing, I started by saying:
“Best lap times don’t matter. What matters is the average of all three riders.”

We’ve made major changes to the team from last year into this year.
As always, I know the one who needs to change the most is myself—so no worries there.

On top of that, today marked the first real result
of the major structural changes we’ve made.

You could say things are finally starting to function.

The fact that the test ended at 17:00
and the report was ready by 18:00
speaks for itself.

Jhon just came over to talk to me—
riders can’t help but care about lap times.
Haha.

The photo shows the engine ready to depart from Suzuka.
This will run at Le Mans.

Since parts need to be reassembled in France,
the TSR staff did an excellent job.

This is what a company—what a team—is all about.
