Le Mans, engine

2026.03.24race

Assembly has begun here in France.

During the previous Almería test,
we had planned to ship three engines from Japan and assemble them,
but due to issues with Honda parts at customs,
we couldn’t obtain them in time.

So we changed the plan
and arranged to assemble them this time instead.

However, due to poor internal coordination,
we started half a day late.

We’ll introduce them from the Le Mans pre-test.
From there, we’ll select the best engines
and carry them into the race.

Everyone at Honda did a great job
despite being busy.
What we must do is deliver results in return.

The photo shows some of the parts that were shipped.

And to those of you riding a CBR—
I want to say this:
the load on the engine in everyday street use
is completely different from how we use it.
So there’s nothing to worry about!
