24 Hours of Le Mans, 12hours after start.
2024.04.21 race
12 hours into the FIM EWC 24 Hours of Le Mans, F.C.C TSR Honda France is currently running in 20th position.
The race started at 15:00 local time and the starting rider for F.C.C TSR Honda France was Josh Hook.
He got a good start and was riding in 2nd place for a while, but crashed on lap 6 and immediately re-started, dropping back to 26th.
Josh then pushed hard and recovered to third just before the pit stop, where he was replaced by Mike Di Meglio.
However, Mike crashed on the third lap of his ride and his machine rolled over the gravel and was wrecked. The rider was OK.
After struggling to get the machine back to the pits, the team began repairs, which took around 30 minutes but were successfully carried out.
The riders then re-entered the course and, although each was careful to ride at a steady pace, they were able to catch up little by little, and even after sunset, when times were generally slower, they did not lose much time and by 2am, 11 hours after the start of the race, they were in 23rd position.
They thought they would be able to catch up steadily, but Mike, who was riding after his 11th pit stop work, soon pitted again.
There was an electrical problem. It only took the team a few minutes to fix the machine and they were able to get back on track immediately.
From here it was a trouble-free run and Josh is currently riding.
